A very good morning to ALL!!! Today is Time is Ticking Tuesday! So just slow down for a moment and relax...even for 5 minutes!
Well guess what...I was in CVS yesterday morning and saw that they had 75% off on a section of the Christmas items...so I had to take a peek. Well they had these cute little Christmas Balls...Not my color scheme but cute so I had to snatch some up -- they came to $.99 a box! When I got them home I had the urge to make something...so this is what I came up with and had it made in 15 minutes...it is actually very cute and could NOT be more simple a great project for next year...so if you see them...snatch some up!
I did find some silver ones also...maybe I will get to make something with those later!

Hope you enjoy this EASY little project and like I said...if you see some...grab them for next year!
Oh Christmas Tree
What you will need...
A styrofoam cone (size of your choice) some glitter (I chose a green that complimented the balls that I used) Some Modge Podge a brush...a hot glue gun and a paint brush.
First, paint your cone with Modge Podge and then sprinkle the entire cone or roll it with glitter...shake to remove excess and then let dry (you really want to let it dry : ) The glitter takes care of those tiny little spots that the balls may not cover...works like a charm! While it is drying...remove the Christmas Balls from the packages and take out the metal hanger finding on the top.
Now arrange your balls in any color combo (I will say that it is hard to create a perfect pattern because of the distribution going around...but no fear...it still looks so pretty...it would also look great in a monochromatic scheme! Now take your first Christmas Ball... and at the top place some hot glue or glue of your choice on it and then push into the cone. That little neck works picture perfect while attaching...like it was meant for it! Then proceed around...
and around...
and around!
Till you reach the top! At the top...just put a touch of glue on the inside sides of each ball so they stay together and then one on top and viola...a pretty little tree...
I thought that this little tree had a vintage feel with the colors so I went to my thrifty finds section and pulled out this pretty little crystal candle stick that made a glistening base for my shiny little tree.
How easy was that!
So...if you see something that is drastically marked down...snatch it up...you never know what you are going to come up with : )
See you tomorrow...till then...sending tons of Hoilday
(((((HUGS)))))
