The Adventures of Junkin Joe and his Vintage Finds

Morning friends...how are you today...hope all is well with you and yours!  It is Friday which means it is time for Junkin Joe here at The Cottage Market. May I report that his Saturday excursions are now a "regular" thing here and he is loving the audience : )  I think he is feeling a certain responsibility to make you smile...let's see if he does this week.  I personally have been amazingly impressed! One thing I can tell you...he LOVES your comments...like candy to a child!

PINK...he is always on the look out for that color and WOW he came home with something Pinkalicious!

 oh so pretty...

 with ruffles...

 a gorgeous creamy white underside...

just picture pink perfect and the condition is truly amazing...a few little imperfections but really fabulous...score Junkin Joe...not only is she pink and beautiful she is also Vintage Fenton Glass!
Lovely serving bowl and after getting a nice hot bath in soapy water it glistened with all it's beauty!
The beautiful center is in fabulous condition and oh so pretty...

all and all a sweet little find!
Once again...this little beauty had not seen running water in some time but after she had her little spa treatment she just was shining with pride...

 who could resist pink roses...

yes...she is a pretty little vintage find from across the pond!
drum roll please...

She emerged from a dusty and dirty box...once again tears were in my eyes thinking about the person behind this beauty...she deserved a royal spa treatment and after her pampering was complete she Gleamed with approval and once again brightly sparkled in all her beauty...she is simply breathtaking!

oh this lovely lady did not travel alone...her original ladle was tucked away in the old decrepit box...

zooming in for the close-up...I am sure she poured the finest of punch...maybe with some raspberry sherbert floating on top...

oh and this fine woman had many other friends...

twelve of them to be exact...

they are absolutely gorgeous girls when graced with a touch of rich ruby brew...

a magnificent lady that has not felt the hands of time...her beauty has been unaltered and oh so timeless...oh the stories she could tell...

Hope you all enjoyed this weeks Adventure of
stay tuned as he continues to rescues damsels in distress from the dusty corners of Thrift Stores around the Jersey Coast!

See you tomorrow for a Week in Review...till then...

Love the effect of the frame display. Love the limoges piece too. It is another of my favorite. Drop by sometime for a visit as I always enjoy your home:)
