Simple Embellishing of Gift tags for you

Morning everyone.  Hope you had a perfect day yesterday...one thing I have to say is according to the activity in blog land everyone had tons of decorations and baked treats...that is one thing for certain!

I have a quick and easy little tutorial today.  Just some quick embellishments for the free printable tags from yesterday...if you missed them...just click here...download and we are ready to begin.

Supplies are simple and once again...use what you have on hand!

Simply Print your tags...trim them nicely.  Then check out your stash of pretty card stock and cut rectangular pieces in the size of your choice so you create a complimentary border for your tag...I used a decorative punch on each corner...it adds a nice little touch...or punch a decorative edge...that is the fun...you do what you would like with the things you have on hand!

Now a closer look...maybe go to your supply section and take out some ribbon...some glitter...small pearls...rhinestones...beads and some other embellishments and of course some glue.
This tag was so simple...I brushed glue around the edges (a white snowy sprinkle...applied tiny pearls to the corners and place a mini white rose in the center of her dress bow...Then added a ribbon and bow to the top...so easy...so simple...so elegant!

How about a black glitter edge and then a touch of black glitter to accent this pretty ladies accessories...then a pretty bow and ribbon and viola...an elegant little tag ready to adorn a gift or...

create a nice selection of tags...fold a little paper doily in half...place the tags in and tie it with a bow and the tags become a perfect little gift for someone special!
So many options and so many variations.  I sure hope you print some of these out and create...you will have fun and you will not have to buy anything to do it...you know you have so many little things in your stash that would work perfectly.

So the word of the day with this project is SIMPLE!!! Hope you enjoyed this little project...maybe next week it won't be so simple but it will still be fun!
ENJOY!

Till tomorrow...sending you all tons of
(((HUGS)))

  4. Oh these fashions are so fun!! Love the doily "envelope" idea, too!

My Valentines Day was spent tending to a medical emergency and I don't do those too well. My baby Butters has tonsilitis! It's so pitiful! Messes everywhere, she can hardly walk, etc! :( Yesterday was a long day but she does seem a bit better this morning. Evidently potty training goes out the window when puppies are sick! Or I should say goes everywhere BUT out the window! Ha!

Well, I did enjoy watching a Beatles documentary yesterday to so the day wasn't all work and no play :)
