It's so crazy...I usually think in a more complicated manner than I should which makes projects a bit more difficult than they have to be...so I am getting the hang of this Cinch thing! I hope you enjoy this little project!
I am sure you have all seen the Anthropologie candle sticks out there...created from all kinds of thrifty finds! Well you can imagine I have a few here from our very own Junkin Joe! So I thought I would put a Cottage Chic spin on it...Turned out to be a very easy thing to do! I also have to add...you know those saucers...cupless lonely saucers...well I found yet another use for them...they became spacers in this project!
So collect some items that you would like to put together...grab some industrial strength glue and get to creating!!!

now grab yourself some...
That's all you need to know...but make sure the prior piece sets before you add! So here you go...
Perfect for that upcoming tea party...you can place fresh flowers in the cup...a candle...a tea light...or...? Looks fabulous on the table...on a side table...the list is endless and it is a one of a kind! One thing for sure it is a fun way to use odds and end around the house and...It's a CINCH! Great gifts!
It's a little bit different take than the Anthropologie sticks...
but like I said...it's a Cottage Chic approach...I am sure you can create something that is perfect for your style...enjoy...have fun...create!!!

2 It's a Cinch projects - you are a dynamo!
ReplyDeleteLove the Anthro inspired teacups - I've actually been wanting to make something similar!
And I would scarf down the Nutella but my girls are allergic to tree nuts - hazelnuts are the worst!!

So cute! And definitely a cinch! If I think too hard, I won't be able to come up with something that's a cinch....so I'm trying NOT to think about it so I'm ready for the 27th....hope my plan works....

I really love this idea. It would be great for the display window in my boutique flower shop. I have a lot of leftover things that would work well for this. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteLove it Andrea!!..But I know one of my kitties would manage to break it..The littlest one somehow managed to flip over my gorgeous white milk glass with ruffled edges cake stand that I got for $4.00 at a thrift shop..I told her that she was very lucky that she was so cute because that was the only thing saving her..lol

I like yours way better than Anthropologies! Who doesn't have some mismatched china to make something like this? I know I do and I love this idea.

ReplyDeleteVery chic and totally shabby! I have used glue dots for a display I didn't want permanent, and cream cheese to hold a dessert cup in the middle of a plate for serving food. Yours it too pretty to ever take apart!
