A very good morning to you all!
I have to apologize for the simplicity of my project today…it has just been one of those weeks that just consume you…I am sure you know what I am saying…you have all been there…done that…I promise to pick up speed SOON. I still hope you enjoy this little craft…it is easy and in the end…the final results are simply gorgeous (after you put your own spin on it as usual : )
Supplies you will need:
1 lace applique (these are available at fabric stores and readily available on Etsy and Ebay…in fact they are plentiful! Half the fun is finding the one that you love!
Then you will need your favorite type of chain…4 jump rings…a lobster clasp and assorted embellishments if you would like…they look gorgeous as is also! I used some vintage buttons and little dabs of…I have to admit this because it works..HOT glue…so there is not need to run out and get something else.
Here we go!
Lace Applique Necklace
Time to create…
Simply measure around your neck and see where you would like the necklace to fall…then take your chain and measure that off…then split in half. Take two jump rings and attach your clasp to both sides using a needle nose pliers and then…
take your other two jump rings and slide them through the lace (a real cinch) attach to either side of the chain and close them! Your necklace is complete. It’s now time to embellish if you would like…
Choose what you would like to add…place it and see if you love it and then it is time to glue it in place! So simple but the results are stunning. I used an array of vintage buttons.
Perfect for that little black dress! Would be fabulous for a wedding! Yet exactly what you could add for a pop with your jeans! Now as you can see…you can spin this in ANY direction…the appliques come in so many colors and if they don’t have the color you need…you can dye it! Black looks amazing! I know that you will create one that is picture perfect and says “YOU”!!!!! Hope you enjoy!
(HUGS)
to all and I will see you tomorrow!
