Ok…here’s a question for you…let’s see if you know the answer…what do the following paintings equal =???

The Card Players by Paul Cezanne 1892/93
No. 5, 1948 by Jackson Pollock 1948
Woman III by Willem de Koonig 1953

Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer II by Gustav Klimt 1907

Portrait of Dr. Gachet by Vincent van Gogh 1890

Bal du moulin de la Galette by Pierre Auguste Renoir 1876

Garcon a la pipe by Pablo Picasso 1905

Pastel Version (1 of 4) SCREAM by Edvard Munch 1895
 The answer…
a Net worth of over 1 BILLION DOLLARS!!!!!
The above pastel version of SCREAM just sold at Sotheby’s for $119.9 Million Dollars (Sotheby’s HIGHEST priced piece of artwork ever!)

You are probably saying to yourself there are many others that you might think that are worth so much more but they are not for sale!
Scream was purchased by an undisclosed buyer but rumor has it..it might be the Royal Family of Qatar?  The original hangs in the National Gallery in Norway and so do 2 other versions…(did you know that the original piece was created with Oil, tempera and pastel on CARDBOARD…once again rumor has it that this version will be hanging in Norway also in the near future!

by the way…this was the pre-determined visit : )

it is now:  6:35 and these guys…
want to go for a walk and eat…so I shall say…
till tomorrow when we will find out
