Tea Time Tin It's a Cinch DIY Tutorial

Morning one and all...hope your weekend was everything you wanted it to be!  My daughter made an amazing chocolate caramel cake to make her brother love her ; ) and WOW it was truly amazing...literally took forever to make but well worth it...unlike today's
Project...Yes once a month the Mission Possible Girls are going to revisit this little theme...everyone really seems to enjoy an
EZ PZ creation...take a peek at the great selection at the end of the post and see what

For my project today...do you have 2 minutes?  That's about all you are going to need!  It is completed in a blink of an eye!

2 Minute Tea Tin

All you need is...

a pretty little tin...this one happens to be an Italian mint tin sent to me by my wonderful friend in Florence Oresetta...just take a look at it and you can see why I didn't want to do ANYTHING to it! By the way...the little vanilla candies were wonderful!  There are so many little tins out there that are perfect the way they are but you can always decorate one any way you would like!  Small tea tins are perfect!  Then I took a little miniature tea set (available at Michaels or Doll House shops and of course a ton on line and glued everything in place...

glued it on top of the tin...

 put my chalk inside...

 added a strong magnet and...

now it is on the fridge looking pretty and I always know where the chalk is!  As always my projects leave the finished product up to you...you put your spin on it and this will be picture perfect for your needs!  Add any kind of decoration to the top...maybe a glittered little do-dad on an altered tin...a piece of vintage bling to the top of a pretty tea tin...you can even do it on a larger scale for those gorgeous decorative tins out there...if you don't want to glue it on -- place a flat magnet on the bottom of the decoration and then you can change it out!   You see...the possibilities are truly endless!
Now that defines

Now hop on over to these fun and fabulous blogs...

  4. Love old tins - and I'm sure this looks adorable on your fridge! Of course, I always need a place to hold chalk since I have a slight chalkboard obsession!
