Peanut Butter and Jelly...Not Just for Lunch Boxes any more!

Monday Morning...rise and shine!  Time for another week!  I am sure all of you are just like me...running crazy...not knowing if up is down or down is up sometimes? Are you there? I am...so I decided to make myself a quick and easy treat...something so easy...so classically yummy we just never think of doing it!  It's something that can be made in all different ways...all different flavors and combos...we just have to remember it!  So if you want to be a bit decadent...treat yourself to something sweet and scrumptious...look no further...

Peanut Butter & Jelly...Not only for Lunch Boxes any more...

No...it is not healthy...not low in calories...but one thing for certain...it's YUMMY! Sometimes life calls for a bit of sweetness and you can have this made and enjoying it in 5 minutes.

I used 2 fresh snicker doodles...honey roasted peanut butter from Whole Foods...TJ's french vanilla and home made raspberry jam!  Spreads go on either side...scoop in the middle and VIOLA...magic!
Such a nice little treat and of course the whole family will LOVE IT!!!  The cookie is your palette...now create (a Nutella version is so in my future!) This could be a continuing saga!

ENJOY!!!!

I guess you can say that this post was Short & Sweet!

Crafting Project comes early this week so keep an eye out tomorrow!

week in review

Hi there and a very good morning to you all!  Can you believe it...it's time for another week in review!  That means it is Saturday and I hope you have some fun plans!

So grab your cup of something yummy and take a few minutes to check out some fun things that have been happening in the wonderful world of blogging and then start your day...one that is filled with all things good! I am taking this trip down the rabbit hole as we speak...I have no idea what I am going to find...let's see what happens...

Here's a project that is a bit intense...especially if you are not handy with a saw...but I simply love it and I will convince my Joe that it is a great project for him! (Like I said...power tools are not my friend! : ) example:  while using a router on a piece of wood...I got an itch on my ear...so I itched it and forgot that the router was in my hand...took a big chunk of hair out...oh yes...is it true you have to turn the snowblower off before you try to unclog it?  Well you get the picture...but this still looks like great fun!!!

Meatless Monday...Vegetable Medley with Creamy Cheesy Polenta

Good Morning...Here's wishing you all a wonderful Monday and a great week.  Meatless Monday is back!  Every day is meatless here and I hope some of the recipes that I share entice you to add a meatless meal to your week!  Today I have a simple recipe that is loaded with flavor.  It is inexpensive, hearty and truly yummy!  As with most of my recipes you have control...there are no exacts...just a good base and then you can use your own culinary paint brush to add the details... tailored to you and your families likes!  I really hope you give this one a try.  It's a great way to use up the vegetable odds and ends that seem to gather and form a little community in the fridge! So add some of your favorite veggies and have fun!
