Upcycled Teacup Projects

Those pretty little teacups are not just for sipping some Darjeeling in the morning or sipping some Early Grey in the afternoon any more.  Today we are going to visit the world of upcycled teacups…we won’t be pouring any of the magical brew but we will show you that these beauties have a fabulous life after Tea Time is over!
Upcycled Teacup Projects

Opening a drawer filled with jewelry in pretty teacups and a few little saucers …what better way to organize!

These would also be fabulous on a wonderful tray…maybe a vintage silver one placed on a dresser!

How precious is this little herb garden?  How sensational would these look in your kitchen!  Love the idea of simply snipping a bit of chives …a pinch of parsley while making a yummy veggie soup…now that’s FRESH!!!

It’s TEA TIME every hour some place in the world!
This is a project that I will be making at some point…It’s just so cool…looks like a big undertaking but with the right supplies…it can be made in an afternoon!  I can’t think of a better way to give a collection of teacups a higher honor…unless it is tea with the Queen:)
I know you need the perfect place for this beauty…but it has so many possibilities in altering sizes…designs and styles!  Makes me feel like visiting the pages of Alice in Wonderland and having tea with the Mad Hatter!

I even tried my hand at a little teacup…teapot sculpture…it was easy and it’s a great conversation piece on the table with the teacup filled with roses!  Also a fun way to use those odds and ends that you pick up at the Good Will!

For the lovers of Shabby oh so Chic…how about a chandelier!

I happen to love this lighting creativity!  No matter what your style…these would look FABULOUS!!!
I couldn’t find a DIY but with the right fixture…some heavy duty glue and a drill bit for ceramics…I think you can whip some up!

Simple and oh so beautiful!  A bit of inspiration…bet you could make one the little birdies would flock to!

Oh the possibilities…You can tailor this to your liking…and in the end you will have a little family heirloom!
If you happen to see an old chandelier fixture that is beaten and down trodden at the Good Will or a garage sale…don’t pass it by…snatch it up…give it a beauty bath in a delicious color of paint…maybe a bit of shabbying would be nice….isn’t it fabulous how the base of the lighting fixture become the base…LOVE IT!… then a kiss of vintage teacups…perfection!

Here’s a lamp that that is brewed to perfection and comes with a step by step DIY!!!!
Tell me that this isn’t BRILLIANT!!!!

How sweet are these little feeders.  Just a blend of peanutbutter and seeds…no blue required…add a ribbon and tie on a branch…I love it when something is so easy you can do it in 10 minutes…the kids are going to want a million of these hanging in the trees!
Also a great way to use some of those teacups with chips!

Speaking of our feathered friends…here is another
great idea to feed the birdie families!
This pin was blocked…but I still wanted to share this with you!  Teacups or Coffee cups are just a fabulous way to serve up some sweet treats!

Easy Peasy …Quick and Easy and no glue required!  Do you LOVE the stacked teacup look but you don’t want to make it permanent?  Well you don’t have to! Just find your favorite dishes and cups and stack…serve…break down and use again in any way you want!  It’s fun…easy…an inexpensive way to decorate and add pop to your table! Love it!

Now if you happen to be lucky and have the right saw…these can be yours!  If you are someone that created stained glass…that wet sander is perfect for the edges…makes them silky smooth!
