Good Morning Friends. First…Joe and I would like to thank each and every one of you for your kindness…compassion and love for us after the loss of our precious pup Pops. I can’t tell you how much it means to us. This is something that has hit us very hard and all of the animal lovers out there will totally understand. Please just keep our little guy in your thoughts…I know he is watching over us. Now I hate to have to say this…but our Junkin Joe was in the hospital with week…he is home now thank God and he is doing good. The last 10 days have been a whirl wind of…well I don’t have the words. I am thankful that the blog was programmed for a bit and I promise that next week we will be back to a full scheduled Junkin Joe feature section. Today is going to be abbreviated and I hope you can understand one more time. Didn’t want to cancel it…so I thought this would be ok. Thank you ALL for being you and being there for us with your hearts. We love you all.
The Pin Junkie has the perfect trio of plants for me…they are handmade Felt Succulents…not even my blackest of thumbs can kill these beauties! These succulents look amazing!
I am feeling a little rusty this morning…but unfortunately for me…the rust does not look as good on me as it does on our friend Denise…on a whim‘s fabulous upcycled Rusty Shelf Creation. This project has such personality.
Now I can’t say I know much about chickens except I love their fresh free range eggs that they gift to us…but I have to say that this dog house that was upcycled and repurposed into a stylish chicken coup is a brilliant idea. For those of you that raise these cuties…this could be a very good idea. Drop by Glass Slipper Restorations and see the whole Chicken Coup Project and some happy chickens.
Speaking of eggs…have you seen Martinel’s spectacular beauties. Take a peek at these gems…they are perfect for the Celebration of Spring and Rebirth. I am sure that many would love to see these in their Easter Baskets!
Vintage, Paint and more has a very pretty Decorative Box Storage DIY that is wonderful…one that you can put your own spin on. Check it out…you will be glad you did.
If you are looking to create a Small Pantry. The creative Danielle over at Find Silver Pennies has some amazing ideas for you.
Blood oranges are probably one of my most favorite things in the world. So when I saw this absolutely gorgeous and I know over the top delicious Blood Orange Upside Down Cake over at Twigg Studios…I was over the moon with the anticipation of what this is going to taste like. Once my spirits are a bit higher…this will be on the menu.
Our friend Tanya over at twelve o eight has created a wonderful set of cake plates that you are going to love!
Besa GM gives us hopes of Spring with this beautiful Birch Bark Vase. Isn’t it wonderful!
Shop Girl brings some Spring into our lives with a gorgeous centerpiece of Snowdrops. I have to saw that I never saw these gorgeous blooms before…they are exquisite.
Artsy VaVa shares a simple but brilliant Mason Jar upcycled…repurposed DIY that will add a POP of color into your home decor!
We love a wonderful upcycled…refurbished furniture project and that is what the Interior Frugalista has for us today. A Neoclassical Style Side Table and it comes with the DIY. What a lovely piece.
Now I have to tell you…I have seen Pantone’s Radiant Orchid color of the year shown and used in many ways…many ways…but this is by far the most beautiful…original and amazing presentation I have seen. Cheesecake Stuffed Tulips inspired by Radiant Orchid. Â This is a WOW Aimee.
Please take a seat over at Revived by Delia. She has not only refurbished a vintage chair…but she has elevated it notches above. This is a must see and I know that it will inspired you. This chair has been upcycled…refurbished and it had the help of brilliant recycling. A must see. A piece of woven art.
The Luck of the Irish is upon us…see how our friend Holly over at The Coconut Head’s Survival Guide will be celebrating St. Patrick’s Day. What a fun tablesetting.
Distressed Donna Downhome will give you your vintage finds fix for this week. She has some amazing finds…check them out.
Our friend Judy over at 20 North Ora had a very good treasure Satruday…Take a peek at her Fabulous Flea Market Finds.
Holly at Damita’s Pretty Wrap scored some major vintage beauties…just take a look at these vintage cards and more.
Love you Mr. Jerry…Pops and I are sending you big hugs…
For all you bloggers out there…Lamberts Lately has a collection called The Ultimate Blog Planning Notebook…it’s yours free…so kind. Now there is not excuse NOT to get organized (but I will still find one : ) …but I will try!
One more for today my friends and this one is from a new Junkin Joe Family member…Lip Gloss & Lumber…check out her brilliant DIY Dresser Drawer Upcycle Bookshelf Project. How I love drawers!
Like I said friends…next week we will be much better hosts. I had to cut this a little short…but I know you all understand. Once again…thank you for all your thoughts and prayers for our Precious Pup Pops. He is now my little guardian angel…always on my shoulder…always looking out for us.  I will also keep you posted on Joe…but it looks like we have the situation under control now. We are sending our love to you all and know how important you all are to us. There will be more spotlights shining next week.

Hi Andrea; My little Dee has been gone for 14 years and I still think about her, but without sadness, I remember what a loving family member she was and how loyal and sweet. It took awhile for that to happen though. You and Joe have had a tough week and more. Take care of you both. Hugs.

Wow, Andrea. You’ve really been through the ringer these last couple weeks. Sounds like you could use a nice vacation. I want you to know you are in my thoughts and prayers. As a fellow “dog person” my heart is broken for your loss. Take good care of that man and of YOU. You are amazing to keep the party going in the face of all you’re going through. Your readers love you and would TOTALLY understand if you needed some time off! Hugs to you. XOXO Jen

Thank you so much Jen for your kindness…I really appreciate it. You are so right…I feel as though we have been rung out and hung out to dry. I can handle all the ups and downs…the illnesses …trials and tribulations…but when it comes to my doggies…well …not too good at that at all. I just feel as through my heart has been crushed and if I am not working or doing things for my family I am crying. This is going to take a long time and to be honest…even though life goes on…it will never be as sweet…my heart is truly broken. Only dog people really understand. I am kind of drowning myself in work so my mind has no time to think. I will be much better when I can remember ALL THE JOY little Poppa gave everyone without a waterfall of tears and I do believe that he will be waiting along with my other doggy angels in heaven! Sending you hugs and thank you for caring.
