Morning my friends. How are you today.
It seems as though the flu has hit my household…about 3:00 yesterday it struck from NO WHERE…so I am going to make this one a little short and sweet. I hope you all stay well!
Here’s a little simple project that anyone can do and is a perfect gift for Mom or for your favorite teacher…who doesn’t need a pen…this one has a little Shabby Cottage feel but you can put your twist on it in OH SO MANY ways!
What will you need?
Some pretty fabric…basic Bic pens…flowers…scissors…hot glue…spray starch.
Simply iron your fabric using spray starch (this makes the cutting easier and the fraying almost non existent) Cut strips about 1/2 inch in width and about 2 feet long…
create a little bouquet or a large flower and attach with hot glue to the top of the pen…
glue the strip of fabric to the top and do a spiral wrap…
and viola!
Ready for gift giving…place a few in a little vase and wrap in cello…tie with a bow and you have a perfect little gift!
Many more little Mother’s Day Projects to come and many more Teacher gifts for the end of the year…keep an eye out!
